This deal gives full access to most SAGE journals and allows UTMB authors to publish open access articles in most of their OA or hybrid-OA journals with no article processing charge (APC).
- The corresponding author must be from UTMB or another UT System Institution for this deal to apply.
- SAGE will contact eligible authors and invite them to the "SAGE Open Access Portal" once their accepted article has been received into SAGE's Production department.
Subscription Journals: Corresponding authors publishing an article in "SAGE Choice" offer hybrid open access publishing can be published open access for free. Charges other than the author article process charge (APC) may still apply, look at the individual journal submission guidelines.
Gold Open Access Journals: Corresponding authors publishing in a gold open access journal can be published for free where the journal is eligible for the agreement. The 100% gold discount will be applied automatically in the "SAGE Open Access Portal".
