Consecutive citations

Correctly renumber consecutive citations by:

  • In Word, under the References tab -  highlight the range of citation numbers that are incorrectly numbered.
  • Click Merge Citations

Suppress URL in bibliography

Don't want URLS in the bibliography? Suppress them in Mendeley Desktop.

  • Open Mendeley Desktop, then select View (from the very top menu bar)
  • Select Citation Styles, then select More Styles
    • Near the bottom of the box that pops up, look for the option labeled "Include URLS and Date Accessed in Bibliographies
    • Use the dropdown box and change the default from "For All Document Types" to "Only for Webpages", 
    • Then click Done
