    Evidence-based clinical guidance from the American College of Physicians designed for rapid access to information at the point of care.
  • DynaMed  
      
    A clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other health care professionals for use primarily at the point of care.

    A public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

Find Evidence-Based Articles & Systematic Reviews

Databases to find articles and systematic reviews

  • Cochrane Library  
      
    Consists of the latest, up-to-date full-text of all reviews and protocols prepared by the Cochrane Collaboration. It also provides access to Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness (DARE) and other resources.
  • PubMed Clinical Queries
    Results are limited to specific clinical research areas. Filters are available for Clinical Study (developed by Haynes RB, et al), Systematic Reviews, and Medical Genetics.
  • TRIP Database
    A clinical search tool designed to allow health professionals to rapidly identify the highest quality clinical evidence for clinical practice.
  • Bandolier
    The impetus behind Bandolier was to find information about evidence of effectiveness (or lack of it), and put the results forward as simple bullet points of those things that worked and those that did not Information comes from systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomised trials, and from high quality observational studies.
  • STAT!Ref Evidence Alerts  
      
    Register for an account in STAT!Ref and set up Evidence Alerts. This value-added system provides e-mail delivery and access to evidence-based information from current research of over 130 premier clinical journals.

  • PubMed (Medline)  
      
    The National Library of Medicine's interface to Medlline, the premier biomedical database searchable from 1947 to the present.
  • CINAHL - Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature  
      
    Covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines.
  • Harrison's Online
    Online access to Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine
  • Lange Education Library
    An online medical reference resource providing complete access to texts in clinical topics, as well as, pharmacology, microbiology, physiology, epidemiology, pathology and other fundamentals. Patient care, study aids and review resources are also provided.
  • MD Consult  
      
    Provides over 50 textbooks across a wide range of specialties and more than 80 journals & Clinics. It also includes sections on practice guidelines and patient education. In addition, a CME section is provided.
  • STAT!Ref  
      
    Search across more than 80 books across many health science disciplines.
  • UpToDate
    on campus use only; off-campus access is only available via the electronic medical record.
